Roger W. Price
Fine Artist Painter and Publisher
Roger W. Price is a fine artist, working primarily with Acrylic based paints. He is best known for his paintings depicting historical U.S. Army Units including; the 9th and 10th Cavalry Regiments’ “Buffalo Soldiers” and the “Tuskegee Airmen”.
He is a Gulf War Veteran and former member of the U.S. Army Art Team. While assigned to the team he created works of art which were added to the U.S. Center of Military History collection in Washington D.C.
Roger has been commissioned to create works of art for both private collectors, and commercial companies including the NBA Championship San Antonio SPURS. His painting “Forging the Peace South of the Sava” took him to Bosnia and Herzegovina. The painting reflects the U.S. Army’s First Armor Division’s peace keeping mission near the end of the Bosnian War.
Roger has appeared on American Forces Network Television Europe, American Forces Korea Network and featured in several news and magazine articles. His paintings have been used as book and magazine covers in the United States, Germany and South Korea.
Over the past 30 years Roger’s paintings have shown and placed in juried shows and exhibitions in Frankfurt Germany, Paris France, Seoul South Korea and in the United States. His limited edition prints are in private and public collections across the U.S. in Germany and South Korea. Roger currently resided in San Antonio, Texas.
